General Fund Tax Revenues by Source for Fiscal Year 1999

This is a pie chart that shows General Fund Tax Revenues by Source for Fiscal Year 1999. Revenues are expressed in terms of percentages and dollar amounts. Income Taxes accounted for 44 percent of General Fund tax revenues. Sales Taxes accounted for 37 percent. Corporate Taxes accounted for 12 percent.  Inheritance and Estate Taxes accounted for 3 percent. Other Taxes accounted for 4 percent, which includes Tobacco and Alcohol for 1.8 percent, Real Estate for 1.4 percent, and Cabaret and Miscellaneous for 0.8 percent.  Source: Office of the State Comptroller.
