1. 1997 - DSS stopped making regular
processing payments to EDS in a dispute concerning the continued viability of the
Connecticut AIM project. EDS continued processing Medicaid and ConnPACE claims under the
contracts.
1998 - Upon settlement of the dispute DSS made a lump sum payment of $16,925,206.87
covering the processing period of October 1996 to November 1997.
1999 - Partial year. Covered are payments made to February 1999.
2. After fiscal year 1996 ConnPACE processing payments were combined with the Medicaid processing payments.
3. 1996 - This figure represents a partial year. The method of making the transfer to EDS was changed so that funds were moved to an EDS controlled Fleet Bank account without first having to go to EDS. In fiscal year 2000 ConnPACE provider payments will be made from a DSS controlled Fleet Bank account.
4. Fiscal year 1988 represents the first year for which CAS information is available.
