Subcommittee on Legal and Personnel Matters
Meeting of October 8, 2014, 8:30 AM
OSC, 55 Elm Street, Hartford, CT

Present: Chairman Peter Blum, Trustees Michael Carey, Charles Casella, and Robert Coffey. Commission Legal Counsel Michael Rose and Robin Kallor.

The meeting came to order at 8:30 AM. Mr. Casella moved to go into Executive Session to discuss the pending litigation of Virginia Brown, Joseph Maturo, and Donna Sampieri, and to discuss a draft legal opinion by Commission Counsel Rose in the Cruz-Aponte matter, and to invite Attorney Rose and Attorney Kallor to attend and participate in the discussion of all matters. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carey and approved unanimously.

Mr. Carey moved to come out of Executive Session. Mr. Casella seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.

Mr. Casella moved to amend the agenda to discuss an inquiry by Attorney Kallor for background information for MERS research on issues raised by the Towns of Thompson, East Haven, Monteville and Mansfield. Mr. Carey seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.

No motions were made during the Public Session regarding matters that were discussed in the Executive Session and the Public Session.

At 9:58, there being no further business, Mr. Carey moved to adjourn. Mr. Casella seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
