At 7:37 a.m. Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey to enter into EXECUTIVE SESSION
to discuss legal advice regarding Cruz-Aponte and similarly situated retirees. Attorney Rose was invited to attend. All in favor.

8:06 a.m. Mr. Casella moved to come out of EXECUTIVE SESSION, seconded by Mr. Carey. All in favor.

8:07 a.m. Mr. Casella moved as follows:
The Legal and Personnel Subcommittee recommends to the Commission that the Division be directed to prepare protocolsl to ensure that CMERS municipalities provide a list of all active employees so that this list may be cross-checked against the list of all CMERS pension recipients. Mr. Carey seconded. All in favor.

8:12 a.m. Mr. Casella moved to go into EXECUTIVE SESSION to discuss legal advice regarding correspondence from Mr. Maturo's attorney. Mr. Carey seconded and invited Attorney Rose into the discussion. All in favor

8:17 a.m. Mr. Casella moved, to come out of EXECUTIVE SESSION, Mr. Carey seconded. All in favor.

No motions were made. No action taken

There was general discussion on recent correspondence from the Division. The Subcommittee decided to hold in abeyance any action until the full Commission acts on a motion regarding Cruz-Aponte and similarly situated individuals.

The Subcommittee received another memorandum from the Division regarding interpretation of CGS 7-442(b). There was general discussion, and the Subcommittee agreed to table the matter until the next Subcommittee meeting.

8:27 a.m. Mr. Casella moved to adjourn. Mr. Carey seconded. All in favor.
