STATE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT COMMISSION
LEGAL AND PERSONNEL SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

The Legal and Personnel Subcommittee met at 10:30 A.M. Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey to go into Executive Session to discuss the hiring of legal counsel, supervision of Ice Miller, legal issues referred to the subcommittee and the Attorney General's opinion regarding disability retirement provisions under CMERS. The Chairman, Peter Blum and Trustee Linda Yelmini were asked to participate in the discussion.

Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey to come out of Executive Session at 11:30.

Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey to initiate the RFI and PSA procedures simultaneously for recruitment of Commission Legal Counsel. All voted in favor.

Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey to adjourn the meeting. All voted in favor.
