A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, September 27, 2013, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:01 am.

Dr. Samson motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Singer at 9:03 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division were allowed to remain.

Dr. Samson motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Singer at 12:09 pm.

LISA ADAMS-PULEO D-10590 CONTINUED ENTITLEMENT REVIEW
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Buchanan, to deny the continued entitlement to disability retirement of Lisa Adams-Puleo. Motion approved unanimously.

JOHN BOUTILLIER D-10605 CONTINUED ENTITLEMENT REVIEW
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Buchanan, to approve the continued entitlement to disability retirement of John Boutillier. Motion approved unanimously.

JOSEPH CARPIO D-10655 CONTINUED ENTITLEMENT REVIEW
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Buchanan, to approve the continued entitlement to disability retirement of Joseph Carpio. Motion approved unanimously.

Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Buchanan, to deny the continued entitlement to disability retirement of Laurie Combs. Motion approved unanimously.
