A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:09 am.

Dr. Katsetos motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Blum at 9:10 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session.

1. Edward and Amber Henderson appeared, and Edward Henderson made a statement before the Board at 10:54 a.m. He and Amber Henderson were excused by the Board at 10:55 a.m.
2. Hasson Stavis appeared and made a statement before the Board at 10:57 a.m. He was excused by the Board at 11:16 a.m.
3. Rose Hubbard appeared and made a statement before the Board at 11:26 a.m. She was excused by the Board at 11:31 a.m.

Dr. Blum motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Katsetos at 11:35 a.m.

Dr. Blum moved, seconded by Dr. Katsetos, to continue the disability retirement of Brenda Barry. Motion approved unanimously.

DANIEL BOILEAU     D-11475     CONTINUED ENTITLEMENT
Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Katsetos, to continue the disability retirement of Daniel Boileau. Motion approved unanimously.

RUTH BOLDUC     D-11490     CONTINUED ENTITLEMENT
Dr. Katsetos moved, seconded by Dr. Blum, to continue the disability retirement of Ruth Bolduc. Motion approved unanimously.
