A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Farmington Avenue, Room 1008, Hartford, Connecticut, 06105.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:00 am.
Dr. Lieders motioned to amend agenda and seconded by Dr. Rudich to:
Add Carline Hummel at 9:01 am. And to add Jeffrey Fisher at 1:23 pm.

Dr. Lieders motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Rudich at 9:02 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session. Colin Newman left the meeting at 10:09 am. and returned at 10:13 am. Cindy Ceislak left the meeting at 11:00 am. and returned at 11:05 am. There was a brief break at 11:31 am. until 11:40 am. Annette Sadlowski left the meeting at 1:04 pm. and returned at 1:06 am.

1. Karen Ahmed, Andrew Ahmed and Attorney Justin Raymond appeared before the Board at 11:49 am. Attorney Raymond made a statement, and then they were excused by the Board at 11:51 am.
2. Kenneth Baudner appeared before the Board at 11:53 am. He made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 11:55 am.
3. Judith Dejesus Damian Dejesus and Attorney Winona Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 11:57 am. Attorney Zimberlin made a statement and then they were excused by the Board at 12:04 pm.
