The meeting began at approximately 11:05 a.m.
1. Discussion was held in regards to the approval of Probate Judges Fund Lump sum contribution.
Motion was made to accept the increase in the Employer Contribution in 2019 by five million dollars. All voted in favor. The motion carried.
2. Discussion was held in regards to the approval of the Connecticut Probate Judges and Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation Report prepared as of December 31, 2018.
Motion was made to recommend to the Commission to accept the Connecticut Probate Judges and Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation Report prepared as of December 31, 2018. All voted in favor. The motion carried.
3. Discussion was held in regards to Potential Adjustments to the Actuarial Factors across various plans.
Motion was made recommend to the Commission to accept the recommendation of the actuaries to use the current actuarial assumptions into the computation of transfers to the Municipal Employees Retirement System as of June 20, 2019. All voted in favor. The motion carried.
4. Discussion was held in regards to approval of the revised Connecticut Municipal Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation prepared as of June 30, 2018.
Motion was made to recommend to the Commission to accept the revised Connecticut Municipal Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation prepared as of June 30, 2018 (revised June 17, 2019) pending the Governor�s signature of the related legislation. All voted in favor. The motion carried.
5. Discussion was held in regards to approval of the revised Connecticut State Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation prepared as of June 30, 2018.
Motion was made to recommend to the Commission to accept the revised Connecticut State Employees Retirement System Actuarial Valuation prepared as of June 30, 2018 (revised June 18, 2019) pending SEBAC approval and the Governor�s signature of the related legislation. All voted in favor. The motion carried.
