INTERDEPARTMENTAL MEMORANDUM

To: The Heads of All State Agencies
Attention: Chief Administrative Officers, Fiscal Officers and Business Managers
Subject: Requisition for Reservation of Funds (CO-110)

Form CO-110, Requisition for Reservation of Funds, is required to establish a reservation commitment. General Reservations "RR's" 1-8 are standard reservations pre-established by the Comptroller's Office. Once a requisition category is established, it should not be resubmitted. (Refer to the State Accounting Manual, Commitment Section 3.3 for detailed procedures). Definitions of use of General Reservations 9-19, however, are specific to each agency and must be resubmitted annually.

A Requisition for Reservation of Funds, Form CO-110, to renew or revise General Reservations 9-19 must be submitted to the Office of the State Comptroller, Accounts Payable Division, no later than June 16, 2000. If the forms are not received in a timely manner, the processing of new fiscal year expenditures may be delayed.

When submitting a new Requisition for Reservation of Funds (Form CO-110), use the following procedures:

 

When submitting a Renewal or Revision to a General Reservation 9-19, use the following procedures:

Any expenditure in the new fiscal year, charged to RR 9-19, which has not been resubmitted, will be placed in a pre-audit ("Q") status. These expenditures will not be processed until the agency has satisfied this requirement.
