TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES

ATTENTION: Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers, Business Managers, and Payroll and Personnel Officers
SUBJECT: Correction to Memorandum 98-25, for the Tuition Reimbursement for Engineering and Scientific (P-4) Bargaining Unit Employees

I. AUTHORITY

The collective bargaining agreement between the State of Connecticut and the Engineering and Scientific (P-4) bargaining unit, for the period July 1, 1997 through June 30, 2001.

II.  CORRECTION

Memorandum 98-25, Section II stated: "State Technical Colleges are eligible for (18) credits in each year of the contract." A Memorandum of Understanding has deleted State Technical College language from the contract.
 
The correct statement is: "The maximum reimbursement rate has been increased to $115 per credit for undergraduate courses and $145 per credit for graduate courses. No employee is eligible for reimbursement for more than twelve(12) credits in each year of the contract."
