Meeting Called to Order by Michelle Gilman
Financials and Dashboard - Milliman presented the monthly dashboard report for financials. Prescription drug costs continue to run higher than expected. It was reported that the prescription drug trend is slowing down. Staff projected a significant shortfall in the retiree appropriation for fiscal year 2015 which will need to be monitored closely.
Compound Drugs - A prior authorization process for all compound drugs will be implemented on May 15, 2015. It was reported that there was a low call volume after the informational letters were sent to members who are potentially impacted.
