Meeting Called to Order by Thomas Woodruff

New Business:

Financials and Dashboard - Dave Williams presented the monthly dashboard report on financials. It was noted that claims experience is running better than expected; however, the increased membership on the retiree side is offsetting the better claims experience.

Partnership Update - Staff reported that Uncas Health District joined the Partnership Plan effective 12/1/13. Implementation was successful and there were no issues to report. Overall, enrollment remains consistent at about 2500 lives. It was reported that additional quote requests were starting to come in as the 7/1 renewal process for groups is getting underway.

SIM Update - Tom provided an update on the work being done on the SIM project. The State has begun work on phase 2 of the application. It was noted that the payment and delivery reform phase would be a 3 to 4 year effort.

Dental RFP - Milliman provided an update that the bids were under general review. They expect to hold the finalist interviews the week of February 6th and the target date for a decision would be February 14, 2014 for a July 1, 2014 effective date.
