Agency Email Notice 2017 Flu Clinic

In preparation for this year's 2017 flu season, the State has contracted with Western Connecticut Home Care to administer on-site flu vaccination clinics for state employees. Agencies must use the contracted vendor for on-site flu vaccination clinics. Western Connecticut Home Care is currently scheduling clinics based on availability for the agency and the vendor. If you have not yet scheduled a flu clinic for your agency and would like to do so, contact Megan Garcia via phone at (203) 730-5214 or email  to request a date.

Flu clinics are for the purpose of vaccinating state employees. State employees who have other coverage and are not enrolled in the State of Connecticut employee health plan are eligible to get a flu shot at the on-site clinic by presenting their insurance card. Western Connecticut Home Care is authorized to bill the member?s coverage directly.

Our pharmacy benefit manager, CVS Caremark will also be providing vaccination services at pharmacies participating in the flu vaccination clinic network. Members are eligible to get a flu shot by presenting their current Caremark ID card. For a complete list of participating pharmacies, visit  or
