This is a graph that shows the Cumulative General Fund GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Deficit at the end of the past five fiscal years. In Fiscal Year 1994 the Cumulative General Fund GAAP deficit was 465 million 800 thousand dollars. In Fiscal Year 1995 the Cumulative General Fund GAAP deficit was 576 million 900 thousand dollars. In Fiscal Year 1996 the Cumulative General Fund GAAP deficit was 639 million 900 thousand dollars. In Fiscal Year 1997 the Cumulative General Fund GAAP deficit was 670 million dollars.
