The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m. The purpose of this special meeting of the Subcommittee was to provide an opportunity for MERS Retirees, who in response to the MERS Reemployment Survey, indicated they were reemployed with a municipality for days or hours per week in excess of statutory limits, to meet with the Subcommittee.
The MERS Retirees who met, on an individual basis, with the Subcommittee were: Sara Seney, Bernadette Baldino, Halina Fajer-Wolczacki, Hector Ramos, and John Lupo. Each was scheduled for one half hour. The following MERS Retirees did not appear, but their responses to the survey were reviewed by the subcommittee: Kim Walton, Diann E. Patterson, Richard Belden, Isidro Maldonaldo, Marie McKay, Joseph Peterson, Judith Nagle, Lance Helms, and Cheryl Maturah.
The meetings and reviews were concluded by 3:45 p.m. The Subcommittee discussed the information it had received and decided to take no action until Counsel prepares recommendations regarding each retiree. Transcripts of the meeting with each retiree will be prepared.
At 3:49 p.m., Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey, to adjourn. All voted in favor.
