A Meeting to the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, March 20, 2020, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 165 Capitol Ave., Hartford, Connecticut, 06106. Circumstances created by the COVID-19 virus have resulted in all Medical Examining Board meetings are being conducted electronically.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:11 am.
Dr. Rudich motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Galvin at 9:12 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session. Colin Newman joined the meeting at 9:26 am. Colin Newman left the meeting at 10:32 am and returned at 10:39 am. Colin Newman left the meeting at 10:59 am and returned at 11:06 am. There was a brief break at 11:09 am. until 11:17 am.
1. Keith Alleyne was telephoned at 11:22 am for the opportunity to provide a brief statement to the Board. He made his statement, and then the telephone call ended at 11:30 am.
2. Michael Biehl was telephoned at 11:32 am for the opportunity to provide a brief statement to the Board. He made his statement, and then the telephone call ended at 11:35 am.
3. Attorney Zimberlin, on behalf of his client, Karen Darna was telephoned at 11:37 am for the opportunity to provide a brief statement to the Board. Attorney Russell Zimberlin made a brief statement and the discussion for this client, Karen Darna, ended at 11:40 am.
4. On this same telephone call Attorney Zimberlin, on behalf of his client Lynn Maille, provided a brief statement to the Board, and then the telephone call ended at 11:44 am.
5. Beverly Dixson was telephoned for the opportunity to make a brief statement to the Board at 11:45 am, which was not answered, no statements were made to the Board.
6. Ian Greaves was telephoned at 11:47 am to provide a brief statement to the Board. Ian Greaves made a statement and then the call was ended at 11:51 am.
7. Attorney Justin Raymond, on behalf of his client, Sherry Hawk, was telephoned at 12:04 pm for the opportunity to make a brief statement to the Board. Attorney Justin Raymond made a statement and the discussion for this client ended at 12:05 pm.
8. On this same telephone call Attorney Raymond, on behalf of his client, Kevin Moran, provided a brief statement to the Board, and then the telephone call ended at 12:07 pm
