Comptroller Says Report Can Help Citizens Hold Government Accountable

State Comptroller Nancy Wyman today issued her annual report on state finances, The Comptroller's Report: Connecticut's Economic Health.

Wyman's report is designed to give citizens a common sense view of Connecticut's fiscal condition and outlook for the future.

"This report can help citizens hold government accountable by showing them in very plain terms where their hard earned tax dollars are being spent," Wyman said. "I am hopeful that it encourages readers to participate in the democratic process that affects every citizen of Connecticut."

The report is available on the Comptroller's website, osc.ct.gov, under the heading Comptroller's Reports. Hard copies may be obtained by calling 860-702-3301.
