| Subject: | 1999 Property Control and Software Training Seminar |
The Office of the State Comptroller is pleased to present a training seminar on property control and software issues. This seminar will aid chief fiscal officers in conforming with the requirements of the Property Control and Software Policy Manual. Revision Number 3 of the Property Control Manual and Revision Number 1 of the Software Policy Manual have been distributed to all agencies.
Several speakers will be presenting information on various aspects of property control. Planned topics include completing the CO-59, depreciation and New Firearms Inventory Control Policy. A guest speaker from the State of Texas Comptroller Office will be speaking on property control in Texas and the National Property Management Association. A question and answer period is also planned. Questions may be submitted prior to the seminar. See attached sheet.
The three-hour seminar has been scheduled for Friday, June 4, 1999, at the Department of Transportation in Newington, Connecticut and will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
A continental breakfast will be provided. State identification is required for admittance to the building.
Due to space limitations, only one employee from each agency should attend.
