Description: These funds are requested to finance costs associated with development and implementation of information technology enhancements for various state agencies, as approved by the Information Technology Strategy and Investment Committee: Department of Children and Families - The State Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) Project. This project is entering the initial planning phase. During the planning phase the Department will seek federal reimbursement for the project and will ensure that the new SACWIS system is both SACWIS complaint and will meet the State’s needs. Department of Economic and Community Development - This project will rebuild and modernize the agency’s IT environment. Department of Revenue Services - Enterprise Content Management (ECM). This project will provide additional scanning and imaging improvements, FileNet conversion and enhanced document management.
