| Subject: | Increase in the Night Duty Pay and Standby Night Duty Pay for Physicians and Psychiatrists, District 1199, New England Health Care Employees Union, P-1 Bargaining Unit |
I. AUTHORITY
In accordance with the approved Memorandum of Understanding between the
State of Connecticut and the New England Health Care Employees Union, night duty
pay and standby night duty pay for physicians and psychiatrists will increase
effective with the pay period April 25, 2008 through May 8, 2008 (check date May
23, 2008).
II. PAYROLL PROCEDURES
The necessary changes will be made at Core-CT at the appropriate time for
the check date referenced above.
III. NIGHT DUTY OR STANDBY NIGHT DUTY PAY NEW SCHEDULE
The new payment amounts will equal:
Off-site, standby status:$35.00 per hour
On-site, on call status: $80.00 per hour
On-site, on call assignments cannot exceed two (2) sixteen hour shifts in a
workweek.
