Subject:	Increase in Dues/Fees, Charter Oak Professional Bargaining Unit, Local 1214

I. AUTHORITY

In accordance with the request of AFSCME Council 4, the following dues/fees increase was implemented effective with the pay period December 8, 2006 through December 21, 2006 (check date January 5, 2007).

II. PAYROLL PROCEDURES

For the paycheck dated 2/2/07, $16.38 will be deducted to account for the retroactive implementation of this increase. Two pay periods in January were deducted at the old rate of $14.07. The deduction will be $14.84 beginning with the paycheck dated 2/16/07. Core-CT will make the necessary changes for the check date referenced.
