RE:	Distribution of Payroll Checks

Effective immediately, couriers (runners) that pickup checks in the Payroll Services Division at the Comptrollers Office will be required to present the "Payroll Check Authorization" card along with their state identification card and sign-in for the department in which the checks are being picked up for. This includes all couriers regardless of the frequency of visits (past or future) to Payroll Services.

We are also in the process of releasing the new "Payroll Check Authorization" card to the agencies with the new department codes.

Please make sure to pass this information on to your agency courier if applicable.
