TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES

Attention:	Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers and Business Managers
Subject:	Comptroller's Central Accounting System (CAS)

I. PURPOSE

The purpose of this memorandum is to advise all state agencies that effective June 30, 2004, the Comptroller's Central Accounting System (CAS) will no longer be available for inquiry purposes. All CAS user ID's will be deactivated as of the June 30th date. The form CO-1057A, Agency Contact Person For Agency Online Security will be used for access to the MSA and Retirement Data Base Systems only.

II. CORE-CT ACCESS

All financial processing is now completed using Core-CT. Requests for access to Core-CT are handled through your agency security liaison and using form

CO-1092, Core-CT Application Security Request Form for Financials, HRMS, and EPM. This form is available on the Core-CT web site at www.core-ct.state.ct.us/user/xls/core-ct_application_security_request_form.xls.
