TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES

Attention: Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers, Business Managers, and Payroll and Personnel Officers
Subject: Change to Memorandum No. 2004-07, Payroll Provisions for Administrative Clerical (NP-3) Bargaining Unit Employees and Memorandum No. 2004-08, Payroll Provisions for Social and Human Services (P-2) Bargaining Unit Employees

Any retroactive payments for Administrative Clerical (NP-3) and Social and Human Services (P-2) bargaining unit employees should be computed through April 1, 2004. The first sentence in the Retroactive Payments section in Memorandum No. 2004-07 and Memorandum No. 2004-08 should read as follows:

For the period July 1, 2002 through April 1, 2004, agency staff must calculate any retroactive payments.

Please change any references to April 15, 2004 contained in Section VI of Memorandum No. 2004-07 and Section X of Memorandum No. 2004-08 to April 1, 2004.
