Subject:	Implementation of Dues/Fees REDUCTION for Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty, Local 1942 - Federation of Technical College Teachers

I. AUTHORITY:

In accordance with notification from the Federation of Technical College Teachers, Local 1942, there will be a reduction of dues/fees effective with pay period July 13, 2001 through July 26, 2001 (check date August 10, 2001) as follows:

Reduce dues/fees for full-time and part-time faculty unit members working seven (7) hours or more from 1.1% to 1.0%.

Reduce dues/fees for part-time faculty unit members working less than seven (7) hours from 2.0% to 1.50%.

II. PAYROLL PROCEDURES:

Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty Working Seven (7) Hours or More: DOE 76/77, Union Code 06, Bargaining Unit 19, Table No. 979, Sort Code 00979

Part-Time Faculty Working Less than Seven (7) Hours: DOE 76/77, Union Code 06, Bargaining Unit 19, Table No. 909, Sort Code 00979

The agency payroll staff must review the Employee Masterfile (Table Number and Sort Code). The Comptroller's Payroll Services Division will enter the reduction percentage at the proper time.
